When I was a kid, back in the early 90s when the world was different, I walked out into the ramp of Boeing Field with a friend of mine and we hung out with Fifi for about two hours. No one was around. Just checking it out from all around. Such a cool aircraft.

I still love the fact that they took that bomber cockpit and turned it into one of the most well loved pieces of sci-fi pop culture.

Fifi is coming to White Plains NY today thru the 8th. I’m tempted to drive down to have a look; I was an instructor there back in 2001.
